PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for reducing the burden of a user by performing logic synthesis on the side of supply while keeping the secrecy of a software IP. SOLUTION: When the user, who accesses a home page on a Web server 2 from a browser 1, inputs a mail address on a user information input picture 21 and retrieves an IP macro by an IP macro retrieval system 3 and a desired parameter is inputted from a parameter input picture 22, an IP macro generating part 3 generates an HDL description corresponding to the input parameter by the back end of the Web server 2. Besides, a command generating part 5 for logic synthesizing tool generates a command script and while using the generated HDL description and command script, a logic synthesizing part 6 executes logic synthesis and stores data in a file server 7. When the logic synthesis is completed, an electronic mail transmitting part 8 transmits the preparation of data, the address of the file server 7 and a position on the file server 7 to the electronic mail address of the user by electronic mail and the user accesses the file server address and acquires the data.
