PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger capable of safely and stably hanging an engine up on a car body without being influenced by a kind of models. SOLUTION: A front part leg 18 and a rear part leg 21 are provided on front and rear parts of a pair of left and right beams 16, engagement tools 22, 50 to be detachably engaged with spring upper supports 7 of left and right front suspensions 10 are provided on a lower part of each of the rear part legs 21, each of the front part legs 18 is provided on the left and right beams 16 adjustably in longitudinal movement, contact tools 19, 20 to make contact with strength members 6, 12 on a side part of an engine room 2 are provided on a lower part, a lateral girder 17 is installed on an intermediate part in the longitudinal direction of the left and right beams 16, a connecting tool 27 to connect both end parts of the lateral girder 17 on the beam 16 adjustably in longitudinal and lateral movement and rotatably around a vertical shaft center as its center is provided, and a winding machine 40 to hoist an engine 3 is provided on left and right intermediate part of the lateral girder 17.
