PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition using a kind of a Katp channel opener selected from nicorandil, minoxidil, pinacidil and cromakalim for preventing and treating female sexual dysfunction is provided, which shows excellent effect without no side effects even though using extremely small amount. CONSTITUTION: The pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating female sexual dysfunction contains 0.1 to 20% by weight of a kind of a Katp channel opener selected from nicorandil, minoxidil, pinacidil and cromakalim, and is directly administered to the clitoris or the vagina.
