摘要 PURPOSE: Illumination device installation structure of a vacuum cleaner is provided to improve cooling efficiency without using an additional cooling device by cooling a lamp via sucking air. CONSTITUTION: In an upright vacuum cleaner, a dust bag is received in a body via a dust cover and a lamp for illuminating front is installed below the body. A sucking device is rotatably installed, and an intake hose is installed behind the body. A ventilation grill is installed on the side of the body. Upon supplying power to a sucking motor, a suction force is generated to be applied to the dust bag. The suction force sucks the external foreign materials through the intake hose or at the lower portion of the intake device. The foreign materials are collected in the dust bag, and most of the air passing through the dust bag is guided to the ventilation grill by a discharge air guide rib. A portion of the air discharged through a discharge part(121) of a front cover motor(120) flows into a connecting path(131) of a cover motor(130) to cool a lamp(151) installed between the cover motor and a lamp cover(180). Thereafter, the air is ventilated through a gap between combining faces of the body and the lamp cover.
