PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing for connector to protect a connected connector from unexpected force applied from outside and to comply with the kind of boats and their layout pattern at low cost, with good design. SOLUTION: For the casing for connector, a base cover 2 mounting a connecting circuit board, and at least one or a plurality of window parts for the boat formed on at least one of surrounding walls 301, are formed, and a top cover 3 combined with the base cover 2, and a shade 4 combining the top cover 3 with the base cover 2, superposing on the top cover 3, engaging with the base cover 2, are installed. The shade 4 is formed in such a shape that the rim part of the shade, formed at least at the side of top cover 3 where the window for the boat is located, protrudes from the surface of the surrounding wall 301 of the top cover 3, and the protruding part functions as a connector protecting overhang 40.
