PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust-proof device of a motor, which improves the assembly performance of the motor having an electromagnetic brake and an optical encoder, is low in cost and has high reliability. SOLUTION: If an electromagnetic brake 3 is operated, fine wear powder is produced. The lead of the wear powder can be avoided on the outer circumference side as a brake plate 3a functions as a cover. On the inner circumference side, the leak of the wear powder from the inside of the electromagnetic brake 3 into the inside of a cover 5 can be blocked by an elastic element 7, provided on the rotary shaft 2 of the motor. Furthermore, by providing a felt 6, the surer dust-proof device can be obtained. |
