PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer replenishing device capable of reducing running cost and enhancing the working efficiency of a printer by informing a user of the exchanging time of a developer supply part for storing developer as a developer replenishing device capable of recycling the developer. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a replaceable toner hopper 42 for storing the developer and supplying it to a developing part 41, a cleaning unit 37 for recovering the developer not used for printing in the developing part 41 and storing it in the hopper 42 again, and a processing control part 81 for judging the quality of mixed developer obtained by mixing unused developer and the recovered developer stored in the hopper 42 and informing the user of the judged result when the quality of the mixed developer is deteriorated to be equal to or under a limit level. |
