PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the developing activity of a developing solution good and stable when many photosensitive planographie printing plates are processed using an automatic processing machine. SOLUTION: In the method for monitoring a developing solution for a planographie printing plate, when many planographic printing plates are processed using an automatic processing machine, a tracing material stable under alkalinity is previously added to the photosensitive layer of each of the planographic printing plates and the amount of the tracing material dissolved in the developing solution is measured to judge the developing ability of the developing solution. |
