PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber assembling tool by which an optical fiber having a bending tendency is easily inserted into a ferrule and moreover a gap between the end surface of the core wire of the optical fiber and the end surface of the ferrule has no fear of becoming lager than 10μm. SOLUTION: In the optical connector assembling tool which adheres and fixes an optical fiber 3 by inserting the fiber into a ferrule 2 held by a ferrule holding part 1, the ferrule holding part 1 is slidable to both sides in the width direction of the held ferrule 2, and moreover the sliding quantity is specified to the maximum 0.06 mm to the both sides in the width direction respectively. The ferrule holding part 1 is automatically positioned by elastic restoring force of a spring 4 so that the control axis of the ferrule holding part 1 coincides with the central axis of the optical fiber 3 whose central axis is inserted into the ferrule 2.
