PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material which does not generate floor squeak noise even after long-term service thereof. SOLUTION: The floor material has arbitrary face side 3 formed at least on a front surface of a substrate 2, and each pair of opposed butt ends of four peripheral butt ends have a male tongue 4 formed there on and a female groove 5 formed therein. In the thus formed floor material, cushioning materials 6 are arranged at a lower rise portion of the male tongue and in a depth of the female groove.
