PURPOSE: A tension controller of a torsion bar for a trunk lid is provided to maintain initial tension by changing a fixed position of the torsion bar mounted on a bracket. CONSTITUTION: A tension controlling device of a torsion bar for a trunk lid comprises a bracket(20) having first and second curved units(21,22) to fix a torsion bar(10); a tension changing hole(24) combining the torsion bar by being formed on the bracket; and a fixing member(25) fixing the torsion bar on the tension changing hole with a nut(26). The bracket is attached to an inner portion of a package tray panel of a chassis. Then, the torsion bar is penetrating the hinge. A curved end portion of the torsion bar is inserted to the tension changing hole of the bracket. Thereby, the tension controlling device of the torsion bar for the trunk lid maintains initial tension by changing a position of the torsion bar installed on the bracket.
