PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of stably obtaining a latent image of a highγphotoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer formed by mixing fine powder 1 of a P-type semiconductor with fine powder 2 of an N-type semiconductor and shaping the mixture into a thin layer with a binder having >=1013Ω-cm volume resistivity and a transparent high electric insulating layer attached to the surface of the photosensitive layer in one body.
