PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an oil passageway machining cost by improving an oil passageway formed in a support shaft. SOLUTION: In this cam follower, a roller 9 is rotatably mounted through a slide bearing 10 on the support shaft 8 fitted between a pair of supports 7, 7. In the cam follower, the supports and the support shaft are provided with oil passageways 11, 12 for feeding a lubricating oil to an existing part of the bearing, the oil passageway 12 of the support shaft is inclined relative to the center of shaft, and both end openings of the oil passageway are oblique holes opened to the outer peripheral surface of the support shaft. Thus, drilling in one portion will be sufficient for forming the oil passageway so that the machining cost can be reduced.
