PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile terminal double locking structure which is able to simply correspond to the size or shape of terminal insertion cavity. SOLUTION: At the inside of rock arms 12, 13 that are installed in a retainer main body 11, a locking protrusion 12a for the final locking and a locking protrusion 13a for temporary locking are installed at an uneven level. In addition, a distance width size W1 between side walls 31 is formed at the almost equivalent size between that of the outside surface-outside surface of rock arms 12, 13 so that a retainer 10 can be inserted into the cavity. At a protruding ridge 34 for locking the retainer, which is installed between the side walls 31, two locking stage parts 34a, 34b to which locking protrusions 12a, 13a are engaged, are installed at an uneven level facing their backs with each other. As the results, the limitation in dimensions is alleviated as there is no necessity to install the locking protrusion at the inner surface of side walls 31, and this device can correspond even in case of connection of a relay terminal with a skirt, and the versatility rises.
