PURPOSE: A method of automatically checking disk file states in an exchange in a mobile communication system is provided by which an operator can check disk files in the exchange of the mobile communication system accurately, to cure damages of the disk files rapidly. CONSTITUTION: An operator produces files applied to an exchange using a package system and simultaneously calculates checksum value with respect to each of the files, inputs the checksum value to corresponding file and dumps it in a disk in the exchange(S1). A DFM block in the exchange performs initialization in order to check the file states in the disk(S2). The DFM block judges if a control signal for checking the file states is received(S3). When the control signal has been received, the DFM block judges whether the control signal is a periodic on-line control signal or a control signal corresponding to an instruction input by the operator(S4). In case of the periodic on-line control signal, the DFM block judges whether the state of the exchange is an allowable state or forbidden state(S5). In case of the allowable state, the DFM block calculates checksum values of all files stored in the disk, compares the checksum values with the checksum values previously stored in the files to check the files, and displays the result values to the operator(S6). |
