PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS system adjustment processing method by which the adjustment totalization processing is easily carried out by transmitting an adjustment totalization start instruction signal from a POS register or a peripheral device to other peripheral devices. SOLUTION: In this POS system adjustment processing method, a POS register having an adjustment processing function is connected to its plural peripheral devices via a LAN and the POS register collects the adjustment totalization results of peripheral devices to perform the adjustment totalization processing. Then the POS register and one of peripheral devices that starts first the adjustment processing notify other peripheral devices if start of the adjustment processing, and the peripheral devices received the notification start each adjustment processing and transmit the adjustment results to the POS register. Thus, the POS register totalizes the received adjustment processing results. |
