PURPOSE: A signal converting apparatus of a current transformer is provided, which determines a voltage applied to a processor according to the output voltage of an amplifier so that overflow can not be generated when the processor performs analog/digital conversion and operation time is reduced. CONSTITUTION: A signal converting apparatus of a current transformer(200) includes the first multiplexer(220) for multiplexing the voltage of a phase measured through the current transformer, an amplification unit(230) for amplifying the output voltage of the first multiplexer to output the first and second amplification voltages, and a comparator(240) for comparing the second output voltage with a reference voltage and deciding if the voltage signal is output or not based on the compared result. The signal converting apparatus further has the second multiplexer(250) for selecting one of the first and second amplification voltages output according to the decided result of the comparator, and a processor(260) for converting the output voltage of the second multiplexer into a digital value.
