INFORMATION PROCESSING UNIT AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing unit and its method by which data are stored in arrangement suitable for shuffling. SOLUTION: Y data of pixel data are stored in memory once for shuffling. A Y pixel counter 143 counts the number of pixels of the Y data from a start point of a scanning line and a Y line counter 144 sums addresses in the memory by a prescribed amount every time one scanning line of the Y data is finished. A line address generating circuit 145 generates the address of the Y data in the line. An adder 146 sums the line address generated by the line address generating circuit 145 and the address in the line generated by the Y pixel counter 143 to generate an address for the Y data when they are written in the memory.
