PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable phone of a plurality of wireless communication systems, which suppresses the out-zone current consumption and efficiently conducts channel scanning. SOLUTION: In the case that state before a state transition indicates power OFF and a state after the state transition indicates out-zone both systems A, B, channel scanning is conducted in the out-zone state according to pattern (1) where a consecutive operation is conducted first similarly to the systems A, B. Furthermore, in the case that the state before the state transition indicates a standby state for the system A and out-zone state for the system B and the state after the state transition indicates out-zone for both systems A, B, the system B in the out-zone state before and after the state transition conducts out-zone state channel scanning according to a pattern (3) where intermittent operation at an interval of 60 seconds is continued and the system A that is shifted from the standby state into the out-zone state conducts out-zone state channel scanning according to a pattern (2) where intermittent operation at an interval of 2.0 seconds is carried out. Furthermore, the same operation is conducted when the systems A, B are replaced. |
