LIQUID CRYSTAL DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a poor connection of input-output terminal of a liquid crystal panel and a FPC(flexible printed circuit) in an electronic equipment using a liquid crystal device. SOLUTION: Excessive adhesive at the time of heatingly press-welding a FPC is housed by providing transparent insulating films at the peripheral parts of input-output terminals and by providing grooves in the insulating films. The input-output terminals and peripheral insulating films are formed simultaneously with the forming of thin film transistors.
