PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress current consumption and to reduce the dispersion of a gain at every column. SOLUTION: A comparator having a circuit block 110 where a plurality of first circuit in which first current paths 104 to 106 where current flowing by first voltage applied to a first control terminal is controlled and switching means 107 to 109 which selectively interrupt/conduct current flowing in the first current paths are connected in series are connected in parallel, a second circuit 112 including at least a second current path where currents flowing by second voltage applied to a second control terminal is controlled and a means 113 for comparing the difference of currents flowing in the circuit block and the second circuit and detecting the difference between the first voltage and the second voltage is disclosed. An A/D conversion device and a photoelectric conversion device are also presented.
