PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation apparatus, capable of roughly grasping the running progress of a vehicle by a guide sound without having to directly display the same. SOLUTION: When a sound signal is outputted by a sound output means, the route from a starting point to a destination is divided into a plurality of sections, the sound signal is outputted at the starting point by a first expression system and outputted at the destination by a second expression system different from the first expression system, and a ratio of the frequency of the output due to the first expression system and the output due to the second expression system is altered between the starting point and the destination, corresponding to the running progress from the starting point to the present point. |
