PROVISIONING METHOD FOR HOME AND ROAMING FOR MOBILE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a provisioning method for home and roaming for mobile terminals, which handles a mobile communication terminal accessing a data net through an access network by using a set of provisioning data. SOLUTION: A terminal has a storage means for storing a set of current provisioning data and a storage means for at least a set of protected provisioning data. The protected provisioning data cannot be updated without intervention by a user of the terminal. The mobile terminal of this invention can revise an access network without losing the provisioning data of a home access network. This invention eliminates the need for retrial of provisioning in the case of return to the home access network.
