PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that breakage is generated due to low durability for turning motion and pressure fluctuation caused between an operating chamber and a machine chamber of a turning seal mechanism disposed between a turning scroll and a housing for the purpose of oil-free for preventing lubricating oil in the machine chamber from flowing out to the operating chamber, the damage is expanded since there is no function for checking lubricating oil which flows out to the operating chamber as a result of the breakage, the device is enlarged in association with the purpose of oil-free, and an efficiency is reduced. SOLUTION: This scroll fluid machine is composed of a fixing scroll wherein the operating chamber and the machine chamber are completely separated from each other by arranging a turning seal mechanism 8 constituted by a cylindrical seal thin film whose one end is tightly fixed to an outer periphery of a turning scroll end plate and the other end is tightly fixed to a housing side and having a high flexibility, and two tightly fitting springs which are mounted so as to be brought into contact with those inner and outer surfaces, a turning bearing is disposed in an inside provided with a high step prove 3c by highly arranging a groove of a winding start side of a unsymmetrized lap shaped turning lap by one step, and a lap of a winding start side which is engaged with the turning bearing is formed lower by one step.
