PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a load on a network and quickly and smoothly acquire prescribed information. SOLUTION: The communication equipment is provided with a communication section microcomputer 203 having a channel quality measurement section 301, a battery level measurement section 302, a data table 304, and a data transmission/reception discrimination section 303 and with an information processing section microcomputer 207 having a data transmission/reception prediction section 307 and a communication section 305. The communication equipment periodically monitors the electric field level, deterioration in channel quality and a battery residual capacity during data communication such as reception of an electronic mail, the data transmission/reception discrimination section 303 conducts discrimination on the basis of various prescribed information obtained through the monitor, and the communication equipment interrupts mail reception when the data transmission/reception discrimination section 303 discriminates that the channel is interrupted during communication to log out a server and interrupts the channel so as to prevent the connection of the server to the terminal from being left. |
