摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic solution for electrochemical capacitor which has an electrochemical reduction resistance which is equal to or higher than that of the conventional electrolytic solution while maintaining a high electrochemical oxidation resistance, a wide potential window, superior electrochemical stability, and a high withstand voltage, and to provide an electrochemical capacitor using the solution. SOLUTION: This electrolytic solution is prepared by dissolving quaternary onium salt hexafluoroantimonate and lithium salt hexafluoroantimonate in a nonaqueous solvent. The electrochemical capacitor is composed mainly of a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and this electrolytic solution.
