PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable vane driving device in a movable vane fluid apparatus wherein a structure of an advance/retreat moving mechanism is simply formed, and reaction is not loaded on an outside constitution member such as a delivery bend when the advance/retreat moving mechanism is driven. SOLUTION: The advance/retreat moving mechanism 11 which is driven by an operation of a movable vane driving actuator 10 constituted by an electric motor provided with a speed reducing machine 10A and for lifting up/down a blade angle operating rod 6 in an axial direction of a main shaft 1, is composed of a male screw part 6a disposed on the blade angle operating rod 6 and a rotary cylinder member 26 provided with a female screw part 26A screwed around the male screw part 6A. The rotary cylinder member 26 is supported from an outside by a thrust bearing device 8 freely to rotate and disenably to move in an axial direction, the bearing device 8 is housed freely to simultaneously rotate into a hollow shaft coupling 19 for connecting the main shaft 1 and a prime mover 28 to each other while interposing between the main shaft 1 and the prime mover 28 for rotatively driving the main shaft 1, and the movable vane driving actuator 10 for driving the rotary cylinder member 26 is housed into the hollow shaft coupling 19 freely to rotate simultaneously with the hollow shaft coupling 19.
