<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check equipment used without a ground to be attached despite a provision in the chapter 28 of 'technical standard of electrical equipment' which stipulates attaching of ground to an outer case of the equipment for preventing electrical shock, and to ensure accurate operation of a ground leakage breaker in case of leakage, when electrical equipment is used. SOLUTION: A voltage detector (1) with no built-in battery is connected to an AC POWER ADAPTOR (2) with a cable (3). The primary side electric wire of the AC POWER ADAPTOR is connected to a power source terminal of electrical equipment. When no ground is attached to the outer case of the equipment, upon the insertion of a power plug socket, the voltage detector (1) with no built-in battery issues a warning to the absence of the ground attached to the outer case of the equipment.</p> |
