<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disassembling method and its device for a CRT, able to efficiently and precisely split the panel and the funnel of the tube along a prescribed division line. SOLUTION: A heater wire 2a of the heater means 2 is pressed along the division line 1d prescribed in approximate parallel with the above seal line 1c, by means of a pressing/separating structure 2b to the outer periphery apart from the seal line 1c between the panel 1a and the funnel 1b of the tube 1 closer to the panel 1a, and the two sets of sides opposing to each other are heated separately in two processes. Then, rotating the tube 1, a scratch cutter 5a attached on the arm 5b of the cutter 5 is pressed on the side of the tube 1, through a pressing/separating mechanism 5c and a cut line 1e is made all surrounding the outer surface of the tube 1 along the above prescribed division line 1d to split the panel and the funnel.</p> |
