PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase error correction method and its system, where the preamble part for synchronization added to a head of a data part of a received OFDM signal is used to reduce the number of times of arithmetic operations, in order to correct phase error in the received OFDM signal. SOLUTION: FFT arithmetic operation 2 is applied to a time waveform 1 of the preamble part of the received OFDM signal. Known data, related to the sign of the preamble part are extracted from a database 3, complex conjugate is taken from I and Q components of an FFT arithmetic output related to the sign, a phase error correction signal is generated, which is stored in a database 6. By complex multiplication (9) of the correction signal by an output of an FFT arithmetic operation 8 of the time waveform 7 of the data part of the OFDM signal, the phase error can be corrected.
