PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor removing waste on device constitution and realizing both processing quality and processing speed. SOLUTION: A whole device shares a memory 122 and an image memory access control part 121 mediates accesses from respective parts under control by a system controller 131. The process controller 131 accesses the memory 122 via the image memory access control part 121. The system controller 131 processes image data which is read and extracts feature quantity. A process controller 111 designates the content of image processing by an image processing processor 104 in accordance with the extracted feature quantity. The image processing processor 104 conducts the designated processing on image data which is read from the memory 122. Data is read from the memory 122 by designating a range as desired two-dimensional area.
