摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine controller capable of maximizing the regenerative power generation of a vehicle, forcibly cutting the fuel in decelerating the vehicle, and improving the fail safe of the vehicle by controlling a throttle valve. SOLUTION: This engine controller 13 comprising a target throttle opening computing means 510 for computing a target opening of the throttle valve on the basis of a target toque or an accelerator opening of an engine, and throttle opening computing means 511 for computing an opening of the throttle valve during the cutting of the fuel in deceleration on the basis of an output signal of a deceleration fuel cutting means, further comprises a fail safe fuel control means 518 for complementing a signal output from an injection output processing means 507 to a fuel injection valve 21, and the fail safe fuel control means for forcibly cutting the fuel to the fuel injection valve in deceleration on the basis of output signals from the target throttle opening computing means and the throttle opening computing means.
