PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device having a structure with which slippage between substrates stuck together are prevented and the control of a cell gap can be also performed easily. SOLUTION: Relating to the liquid crystal device, a TFT array substrate 7 and a counter substrate 15 are arranged opposite to each other across the liquid crystal 16. A recessed part 50 is provided on the TFT array substrate 7 side, and a projected part 51 is provided on the counter substrate 15. The slippage of the TFT array substrate 7 and the counter substrate 15 stuck together is prevented by fitting the convex part 51 and recessed part 50, and, as a result, the cell gap is held to have a prescribed value. |
