PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker in which a turntable does not continue to revolve when heating has been finished, and there is no fear of being mistaken for a failure, and at the same time the turntable can be stopped at the initial position after the heating, and moreover a heating uniformity can be improved even in a high output operation. SOLUTION: A controller 31 for a microwave oven calculates one cycle time in which the turntable 19 returns to an initial position upon time-out of a heating time in one or an integer number of turns, a driving unit controller 35 changes the driving frequency of a turntable driving unit 34 based on a calculated one cycle time to change the number of revolution of the driving unit 34.
