PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable nonaqueous secondary battery with a high capacity and a little capacity reduction accompanied with the charge- discharge cycle. SOLUTION: A benzenoid aromatic compound which has the dichalcogenide bond with at least S, or with either element of S, Se or Te is used as a positive electrode active substance, and then a nonaqueous secondary battery is constituted. As the benzenoid aromatic compound, either of the derivative of naphthalene, anthracene, 1,2-benzanthracence, tetracene or pyrene is preferable, and as the electrolyte for battery, gel polyelectrolyte is preferable, and as the electrolyte salt which is made to be contained in the gel polyelectrolyte, fluorine-containing organolithium salt is preferable. |
