PURPOSE: A combustion device is provided to warn the exchange of a battery when the remaining life of the battery is short. CONSTITUTION: A combustion device is composed of a sparker(26), a detecting circuit(41,48) for detecting the voltage of a battery(13), a control circuit(14) for operating an alarm unit(24) when the voltage of the battery(13) is less than a first reference voltage, and an operation forbidding circuit(15) for forbidding the operation of the control circuit(14) when the voltage of the battery(13) is less than a second reference voltage.
