PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data receiver which stabilizes the level of a reference voltage compared with received input data. SOLUTION: This data receiver is equipped with a differential amplification type flip-flop which compares the input data with the reference voltage in response to a clock signal and amplifies the comparison result, a latch which stores the logic level of the input data with the output of the mentioned flip-flop, and a counter coupling circuit which cancels variation in the reference voltage due to the operation of the mentioned flip-flop in response to an inverted clock signal. This data receiver is held stable without any fluctuation in the level of the reference voltage and outputs the logic level based upon the result of the comparison of the input data with the reference voltage, so that no DC electric power is consumed for the operation of the data receiver.
