PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect beforehand whether there is possibility of water leakage caused by nail piercing into piping arranged inside a wall surface after construction of the wall surface or not, and make the piping replaceable when nail piercing into the piping is revealed. SOLUTION: An inspection device body 1 having a high voltage generator integrated therein and equipped with warner for informing of nail piercing into building piping is connected respectively to a flat brush electrode 2 comprising many wire rods made of brass and a clip type earth electrode 3 through 9, 10. The inspection device body 1 has built-in nickel-cadmium battery used as a power source, and thereby has a survey voltage of 1-5 kV, and has a weight of about 2 kg, and is portable by being suspended from shoulder by using a suspension belt. When nail piercing into the piping is revealed by survey by a prescribed voltage, the fact is reported by flickering of a lamp or a buzzer sound. The flat brush electrode 2 is installed detachably on the heat of a probe 4, and a high-voltage output starting switch is installed on the probe 4.
