PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively add the dead weight of a crawler type drive vehicle to the working machine of a machine for foundation work wherein the drive vehicle and the working machine are coupled to each other. SOLUTION: Rotation of the coupling between the crawler type drive vehicle and the working machine around a horizontal pin is braked and the dead weight of the drive vehicle is exerted on the working machine in the form of a moment in which the rear installation end of the drive vehicle serves as a fulcrum. For this, the method of braking the rotation of a hydraulic cylinder around the horizontal pin at a position away from the horizontal pin, and the method of providing the horizontal pin with a brake to stop the rotation by the hydraulic cylinder expanding and contracting in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal pin, can be employed.
