SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING MAILS USING TELEPHONE NUMBER

PURPOSE: A system and a method for transmitting mails using telephone numbers are provided which constructs a database storing telephone numbers, addresses, zip codes and directory data to read receiver data matched with a telephone number to transmit a mail. CONSTITUTION: A mail transmitting system using a telephone number includes a client computer, a web server, a printer and a delivery means. The client computer has a web browser and a communication means for Internet access. The web server has a transceiver connected to the Internet to which the communication means is connected to support data communication function, and a database storing common known telephone numbers, addresses, zip codes and directory data. The web server further has a data processor that accesses the database when the telephone number of a receiver is input through the web browser of the client computer to output the receiver's address and zip code matched with the telephone number to the web browser. The data processor outputs a registration table including each field of the database to the web browser when the receiver is not registered. When a transmitting part inputs data, the data processor sends the data to the database to store the data in the database. When the transmitting part inputs a message together with the receiver's address and zip code outputted to the web browser, the data processor transmits the message to the database to store the message. The printer is connected to the web server to print the receiver's zip code and address and the message according to the output signal of the data processor. The delivery means delivers the print to a corresponding address.
