The display instrument has a housing provided with a cable termination using contact pins (6,7,8) which project into a chamber (9) which can be filled with a resin mass, after welding the contact pins to corresponding cable wires (10,11,12), for covering the welded connections. An independent claim for a method for connecting a display instrument circuit board with individual wires of a termination cable is also included.
