PURPOSE: An adjusting device for a skew of an optical recording player is provided to adjust a radial directional skew and a tangential directional skew of a disk at an adjusting point. CONSTITUTION: A skew adjusting unit is formed by a spindle chassis(408), taps(401,403) for combining tangential and radial directional skew adjusting screws(402,404), and levers(405,502) connected to the radial directional skew adjusting screw for adjusting a radial directional skew adjusting unit. A base(406) and the spindle chassis are combined by the tangential directional skew adjusting screw. Moreover, the base is supported by a spring(407). The levers adjust a radial directional skew adjusting unit by adjustment of the radial directional skew adjusting screw. Thus, a gap between a base and the spindle chassis is adjusted for adjusting radial directional skew of a disk. The radial directional skew adjusting unit is supported by springs for securing strength regardless of change in height of the lever.
