A switch device (1) comprises a push button section (52) and a push button main body (53) which serve as operation transmitting members, an LED box (54) and a contact (56) which serve as direct type functional members, and a communicational function containing contact (communication contact) (55) serving as an information input/output type functional member, these component being connectible. This makes it possible to render the output of the contact (56) conductive or nonconductive according to the operation on the push button section (52) and to deliver an information signal to a network from the communication contact (55).
