PURPOSE: An Ethernet apparatus of a digital television is provided to use the Ethernet module property of a developing state and to reduce the cost of production by loading or unloading an Ethernet module at need independent of whether a system is operated. CONSTITUTION: A connector unit(10) interfaces with a main system. An Ethernet controller(20) converts data into a data transmission format for Ethernet. Each component is connected smoothly by a glue logic unit(30). A reset-driving unit(40) initializes an Ethernet apparatus after mounting on a main board. The Ethernet apparatus is used as a terminal, and a communication unit(50) controls the terminal. If the Ethernet apparatus is mounted during the operation of the system, a power-on reset is performed by power from the main system, and if the system is reset, the Ethernet apparatus is also reset. |
