Insecticidal liquid (I) evaporated by heat contains a compound having 2 or more carboxy groups and has 1% or more solubility in water at 25 degrees C. An Independent claim is also included for evaporation of insecticide by heating involves immersing porous liquid suction wick into the aqueous insecticide which contains a compound with two or more carboxy groups and has solubility of 1% or more in water at 25 degrees C.
