The vehicle wiper blade arm comprises a casing (1) pivoted on a head (3) fixed by a nut (5) on the threaded end portion (21) of a control shaft (2). The head has an opening (400) allowing passage of the threaded end. The nut is fixed to a circular base (50) to which it is pre-mounted inside the head and held so as not to be lost in the head. An assembly of props (30) are provided around the opening with a concave internal surface complementary to the base edge. The props clamp the base and temporarily retain the nut in a central position in the opening, separated from the head. They do not prevent the nut from rotating and be screwed on the threaded shaft.
