PURPOSE: A method for selecting digital TV program is provided to search and select a program conveniently just with a simple remote control character input by using information obtainable through digital broadcasting information. CONSTITUTION: A first process searches a database of program information from an inputted character in case a user inputs the character corresponding to a program to search with a remote control. A second process captures an I-frame from the program of channel corresponding to the searching result and records the I-frame at a video buffer. A third process outputs the recorded I-frame to a screen. A fourth process displays a program selected by the user among the image output from the third process on the screen. |
