PURPOSE: A TV screen correction method in a PC input mode is provided to offer a normal screen to a user regardless of an operation state of a PC by in the case of operating a TV in the PC input mode in order to display a window operation screen or a DOS operation screen having a different vertical frequency. CONSTITUTION: In the case that a PC video signal is inputted, a TV counts a vertical synchronous signal about the PC video signal inputted through a TV input terminal for a unit operation time of a micom of the TV(S203). After this, a vertical frequency of the PC video signal is certified(S207). At this time, the vertical frequency of the PC video signal is inputted according to the number of the counted vertical synchronous signal of the PC video signal. Next, it is certified whether the vertical frequency of the PC video signal is equal to a vertical frequency able to be processed at the TV or not(S209). In the result of the certification, if the vertical frequency of the PC video signal is not equal to the vertical frequency able to be processed at the TV, a vertical size of the TV screen and a starting point are corrected by a predetermined correction value(S211). On the other hand, if the vertical frequency of the PC video signal is equal to the vertical frequency able to be processed at the TV, a base vertical size and a base starting point are selected(S213). the video signal inputted from the PC is displayed through the TV screen by means of the selected vertical size and the selected starting point(S215).
