An apparatus and method for analysis involving a first factor (40) and a second factor (42). The first and second factors (42) are related as express ed by a first relationship. The apparatus comprises a base (32) divided into first (40), second (42) and third (44) sections, where the second section (4 2) is positioned between the first (40) and third sections (44). The first (40) , second (42) and third sections (44) are representative of the first factor (40), the first relationship and the second factor (42), respectively. The method of the present invention involves the steps of providing the apparatu s and engaging a dialogue of questions related to both the first and second factors (42).
