The invention concerns an internal arrangement for a motor vehicle passenger compartment wherein the compartment is delimited by at least a floor and a body roof which are connected, at least on one side of the vehicle, by a substantially vertical hollow tubular pillar (16) bearing lateral opening means of the vehicle, wherein at least one trimming element (24) is designed to be fixed on one surface (58) of the tubular pillar facing towards the inside of the compartment. The invention is characterised in that said at least one trimming element (24) is configured like a drip moulding with a U-shaped cross-section whereof the main branches (40, 42) are elastic to enable the element (24) to be mounted by elastic nesting along a direction (D) perpendicular to the inside surface (58) of the tubular pillar (16). |
